Happy Trigger Day to Us!

3 Feb

I finished Follistim last night and tonight we trigger for ovulation ! 🙂

Our plan has changed quite a bit as of Friday. Friday morning, CD 10,  I had my morning blood draw and u/s to monitor the growth and number of my follicles. My estrogen measured at 845 and I had two dominant follicles @13 and 14mm.  That made me pretty happy. From that doc appointment, the plan shifted a bit. Here’s the rest of the updated TTC plan (a little TMI):

  1. Sunday– Novarel (HCG) injection between at 9 and 9:30 PM; BD at night
  2. Monday– Post-coital test and massage (This part of the plan comes from me, hee hee)
  3. Tuesday– BD or IUI (depends on results of the post-coital test)
  4. Wednesday— Begin Prometrium twice a day and Prednisone at night
  5. February 12th- Second injection of HCG (helps to build the lining)
  6. February 22nd– HPT and, if BFP, start Lovenox

I’m feeling very hopeful this cycle. I am leaving no room for doubt. I’m not sure if the meds are talking or if I’m experiencing some divine peace or if I have mad faith in this plan. Regardless of the source of my positivity, I am grateful to be in good spirits for a change. Please keep us in your prayers.
